Entry 175 - Small Saturday

Skipped the San O' trip this weekend and I think it was a good choice. The surf cam at San O' didn't show anything really promising but Porto was its fun usual self with the normal gang. While most of the sets were small a few chest high plus sets worked their way through making it even more fun for the crowd. Caught two real nice rights and a left that I screwed up just as I could have gotten a nice barrel. So close!!

Weather: 68 deg, Sunny
Conditions: Waist to Chest High, Glassy, Fun
Waves Caught: 10

Entry 174 - 3rd Day in a Row

Yep, got out for a 3rd day in a row even though the surf looked really small. Hurricane Lowell is heading north and it looks like the surf for the weekend is gonna get pretty big. We'll see if I go out but I'm itching to. Even with the small crumbly stuff today there were a few choice small sets that came in giving some nice rides. Overall, glad I went out even it was just for 40 minutes.

Entry 173 - Happy Birthday!

Birthday session for me! Wooohooo! Pretty much the same conditions as yesterday but slightly bigger sets every once in awhile. Hurricane Lowell is suppose to be bringing good conditions this weekend to south facing locations but I'm gonna stay in the South Bay I think. Not ready for the strength of the expected 6-10 footers just yet. I want to get there someday, though.

Anyway back to today. Continued to work on my lefts and trying to catch a barrel. Got really close again today and caught my fair share of the good stuff. Happy birthday to me!!
