Entry 218 - A Good Sunday

Been on the East Coast the past week and glad to be back in SoCal. It was freakin' negative digits out there with snow! Finally a good Sunday too. Caught a whole bunch of fun stuff a midst the nice, friendly crowd. Good way to end a cold travel week and start a new warm one.

Entry 217 - Post-Cold

My cold was pretty harsh and the swell was pretty big and heavy the past week. Guess I picked a good time to get a cold! ;) Got back out today to just some so-so stuff that was a bit dumpy with very little shape. Caught my one wave of the day and road back in on my board like a boogie board. Wish I would have caught a little more but breathing was still a bit of a challenge with my congestion. Feeling much better tonight.

Entry 216 - Before The Cold

Felt a cold coming on so I had to get out. Glad I did! Come home in the afternoon and slept most of the day Tuesday. Would have been nice to get out the rest of the week but the cold was pretty harsh and I just had to roll with it. Anyway, caught 3 really nice waves (2 rights and a left) and then called it a session before I wore myself out too much.
