Entry 015 - Fun Times Two

Fun again today.  Started out a little drizzly but then cleared up to partly cloudy by the time I got out of the water.  Nice a glassy up until around 9 AM when the winds picked up.  Had a good time and caught some nice ones.  I've noticed though that I'm not riding the wave as much and getting off a little too fast in front of the wave when taking off.  Probably need to slow down a bit. On my way in also caught someone riding the nose hanging 5, pretty cool!  Good surf overall and Wednesday is looking pretty good too.  Hopefully I'll get out!

Entry 014 - Thumbs Up

Fun day today.  Not too big and not too small... goldilocks surf.  It was good to get back out finally after all the crazy windy weather and not-so-good surf conditions.  I just wish I could have stayed out longer.  Isn't that always the case though when you have some good surf!  Crowd was fun too. Seemed like everyone was just in a happy mood today.

Entry 013 - Bumpy and Choppy

Not even worth it today.  I should have known since most of the regulars were nowhere to be found. From the parking lot it looked good and I hurried up to get out for a quick session but when I got in and paddled out, the surf turned bumpy and at some points there were even small whitecaps. Tide was going down and the surf was mixed at best. Hard to really catch much on the longboard unless you got lucky.  I wasn't the only one... a few others got out right after I did and called it a day.
